Tuesday 7th June Meeting

Our speaker this evening was Jean McConkey and her husband Gerald, able assisted by Sally Ann. What a feast, on arrival at the hall everyone was greeted by tables stacked high with quilts. Plus a smaller table covered in miniature beds each with the smallest pieced quilt. Jean explained how the quilts were made both by herself and Gerald. Mosaics, 1/2 in squares, small and large log cabins, Jacobean, paper pieced, baskets of flowers, the list for quilt styles goes on and on. A truly wonderful evening.
