Aug - Dec Speakers

16th August: Bren Boardman "First Capture your idea! - How to develop a collection of work through Sketchbooks"

Bren Boardman creates Textiles for Fine Art, Fashion and Interiors. After graduating with a BA (Hons) in Printed Textiles from Loughborough University, she set up her studio in Warwickshire.

Bren combines her love of texture and vivid colours with paper, paint, fabrics and stitch. She works with unusual synthetic non-woven fabrics that can be screen-printed, painted, stitched and melted to create beautiful unusual patterns and shapes. This is then constructed into layers and deconstructed to produce original contemporary works.
